Director of Technology - Full Time
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for providing the vision, leadership, planning and management of information technology systems and services to advance the mission of St. Ignatius Catholic School. The Director will set the strategic direction and be personally involved with the practical implementation of information-technology and data security initiatives across all areas of development, acquisition, implementation, and support. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing both hardware and software support in a mainly Windows and partial IOS/Chrome environment consisting of over 400 devices and 600 users. The job description includes: • Bachelor’s Degree or higher. The IT Coordinator should have an educational background in order to supervise the teaching of age appropriate computer skills to grades K-8. Remain current on technology advancements, emerging standards and regulations, and industry trends relevant to the school’s ongoing success. • Trains educational professionals and staff on uses of the computer for classroom, lab and administrative tasks. • Works as a network administrator who is able to administer files, computers, and peripherals and establish security on a LAN. • Supervises activities of lab teacher and assistant. • Manages e-mail and website. • As computer specialist is able to do routine maintenance and problem solving in areas of computer hardware and software. • As systems analyst is able to select appropriate computer software and install it on computers. • As budget analyst, can analyze current and future software and hardware needs for the LAN and plan for expenditures. • Collaborates with the Principal to meet strategic technology goals. CANDIDATE PROFILE The Director will need to possess the intellectual, technical, and interpersonal tools to support and serve the students, staff, and faculty at St. Ignatius School. Specific qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree. Technology and educational experience in responsible roles preferred. • Familiarity with Windows, IOS and Google platforms, as well as administrative software and Microsoft Office. • Technical skills and experience to diagnose and solve problems. • Skills in budget preparation and management and the ability to adhere to and operate within budgetary guidelines. • Flexibility, sense of humor and enjoyment of working with children and adults in an educational and spiritual community. • Appreciation for the mission, culture, and environment of St. Ignatius Catholic School.

Executive Director McGill-Toolen Catholic High School Foundation McGill-Toolen Catholic High School Foundation is seeking an Executive Director. The position requires approximately 20 hours per week. The Executive Director is responsible to the Foundation Board of Directors, The President of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, and works closely with the school’s advancement team. The primary responsibility of the Executive Director is to cultivate gifts to the Foundation’s scholarship and endowment funds and to oversee the management of these funds. The Executive Director works with the Board of Directors to set strategic goals for the growth of the Foundation funds and with the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Mobile, who manages the investment of these funds. Job Requirements • Must possess a passion for Catholic Education • Must be motivated to achieve financial security for McGill-Toolen Catholic High School • Demonstrated success in donor relations • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and Quick Books • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet timelines • Strong ability to self-manage, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks • Must support the teachings of the Catholic Church and embody the mission and culture of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, through behavior and daily interactions. Job Responsibilities • The Executive Director will provide overall day-to-day management for the foundation including donor and donor database management • Work with Advancement Staff, Foundation Board of Directors, President and Principal of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School to meet and exceed fund contribution targets • Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure that Board policies and programs are established and implemented. • Ensure effective involvement of Board of Directors and bring appropriate matters before the Board for input, review, or approval. • Ensure that the Board is given accurate and timely information on the state of McGill-Toolen Foundation finances. • In conjunction with other staff as appropriate, organize Board activities and committee meetings • Oversee bookkeeping and effective accounting of pledged gifts, receipts and grants to the school • Identify and cultivate relationships with individuals that would consider planned gifts or gifts of endowed scholarships • Work with Advancement Staff, as needed for advertising, public relations and fundraising projects.
